As 2016 draws to a close, I can’t help but feel thankful for many things.

… for the opportunity to take on the role of program director, and to all our residents and staff for making me feel incredibly welcome and supported.
… for the amazing staff attendance at academic days since the inception of the "1 session, 3 steps, 5 staff" initiative ! Not only have we fulfilled our goal of having a minimum of five staff at each session, we’ve had record attendance at our academic days with representation from eight hospitals! As one resident put it, “Rounds are electric this year,” thanks to your presence and the richness of experience you bring. You can sign up here. We need your help to ensure a baseline attendance of five staff per academic session!
…to HSC, MGH, MSH, NYGH, SHSC, SMH, and UHN (in alphabetical order) for hosting us at their business meetings during the program site visits this fall! It’s been wonderful to meet you all.
…to Anil Chopra and the Division Executive, Joel Yaphe, Aikta Verma our assistant program director, the chief residents, Alia Dharamsi and Ahmed Taher, administrative staff Nima Heirat and Sawan Tate, our junior resident reps, Justin Hall, Lorraine Lau, Andrew Cameron, the EMRTC members, curriculum leads, the RAP committee, and the Exam Committee for their dedication and support.
