The University of Toronto, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, spans eight Toronto Academic Health Sciences Network (TAHSN) hospitals and integrated health networks and is comprised of 51 full-time faculty MDs, all of whom are actively engaged in leading edge academic activities of patient care, teaching, research, and quality improvement and innovation. We also have over 30 part-time and adjunct appointees based at Greater Toronto Area community sites and two full-time PhD scientists in the Division. The division has the greatest level of research productivity and impact in Canada and is the nation's largest subspecialty training program.
