The Department of Medicine is a clinical department within the Faculty of Medicine. The department, along with the 11 other clinical departments, allow for clinical cross-appointments of current clinical faculty members between departments. This is often for the purpose of participating in teaching activities across departments.

Requests for separate or co-signed letters of support from the Chair of the Department should be sent to the Department Academic Appointments Office at dom.academicappts@utoronto.ca. Full and part-time faculty members will need to identify the appropriate Academic Position Description.
