To appeal a Board of Examiners decision, the resident must submit in writing a Notice of Appeal to the Appeals Committee indicating an intention to appeal within a maximum of two weeks (10 working days) after receiving written notice of the decision to be appealed.

Within the GIM Training Program there is mandatory and elective content. Residents in the two year subspecialty program have 13 blocks of mandatory training. These 13 blocks may be spread out between the two years of the program, with elective experiences interspersed.
