Mentorship Matters February 2023: Recognizing and Crediting your Mentorship (and Menteeship!) Activities

While the act of being a mentor and a mentee is rewarding in and of itself, we do work within an academic environment!  As one of my mentors told me, how can we make the things that we are doing already count for more?  Mentorship does matter to the Department of Medicine, and here are some ways where we show that we value mentorship, instilling a culture of mentorship around us.
