We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Carolyn Snider, as the new Chief, Emergency Medicine at St. Michael's Hospital.
Dr. Snider joins us from the University of Manitoba and Winnipeg Health Science Centre where she has worked as a Clinician Scientist since 2011, researching violence intervention. Prior to moving to Winnipeg, Dr. Snider worked at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto as an emergency and trauma physician, as well as an injury researcher.
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Snider back to Toronto and congratulating her on her new role. We also want to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Glen Bandiera for his excellent leadership as ED Chief at SMH for the last ten years. In the interim, Dr. Simon Kingsly will be acting Chief until Dr. Snider started her new role as SMH ED Chief on January 1, 2019.
