End of Rotation summative assessments are an important component of resident feedback.
This year, faculty will be filling out ITERs for some residents and ITARs for others. The process for both is similar.
BOTH:
ITERs:
In-training Evaluation Reports will continue to be completed for residents who are in programs that have not yet launched CBD. As with all end-of-rotation assessments, the assessment is based on the resident’s level of training. Comments are extremely helpful - be detailed and specific.
ITARs:
In-training Assessment Reports are the new end-of-rotation summary documents for residents in programs that have started their CBD Curriculum.
While similar to an ITER in purpose, there are a few new issues.
