Frances Shepherd, University Professor
Dr. Frances Shepherd is an international leader in clinical lung cancer research and a highly respected mentor. She has designed and led more than 100 clinical trials, several of which contributed to the treatment of lung cancer globally. Dr. Shepherd is extremely committed to teaching the next-generation of clinicians and researchers in hematology and medical oncology, mentoring nearly 50 national and international post-graduate clinicians and clinician-scientists. The title “University Professor” is the University’s highest and most distinguished academic rank.
