Description:
Fellowships in Medical Oncology at the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre (OCC) are available to candidates who have completed their formal Medical Oncology training in their home country. The purpose of the fellowship is to provide additional clinical and research training for those interested in pursuing an academic career. Areas of research and clinical focus are available in one or more of the following areas: breast cancer, lung cancer, melanoma, neuroendocrine tumors, gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers. Fellows generally focus on one primary disease site. Supervision is provided by the one or more of the medical oncology staff. Opportunities to apply for peer reviewed research funding and graduate degree program are available and encouraged.
