Description: |
The fellowship program in general geriatric medicine will train physicians to offer expert care of older adults. The duration and design of the training program will be tailored to the specific learning needs and objectives of the candidate. Core training will include both outpatient and inpatient geriatrics consultation. Rotations in neurology, geriatric psychiatry, osteoporosis and long-term-care (among others) are available to enhance knowledge and skills for managing common geriatric syndromes. Our faculty are involved in a myriad of scholarly projects including clinical research, health systems research, medical education, and more, with many opportunities for academic collaboration and mentorship. Eligibility: Applicants must be fluent in English and have completed postgraduate (residency) training in Internal Medicine. Applicants are expected to have impeccable bedside manner and work well in teams.
