Description:

  • Fellowships in Medical Oncology at the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre (OCC) are available to candidates who have completed their formal medical oncology training in their home country. The purpose of the fellowship is to provide additional clinical and research training for those interested in pursuing an academic career.
  • Clinical focus in GU/GI/Lung/Breast – as well as other sites – to provide a breath of exposure to prepare for Clinical Practice
  • Education focus – to participate in the teaching of residents, medical students and allied health professionals ( i.e. nursing) and educational research projects
  • To participate in urgent care clinics (ONUC) – working closely with our NP
  • Fellows may pursue formal post-graduate training ( I.e. Master Teachers program, Master of Education)
  • Participation in clinical trial activities is encouraged
  • Supervision is provided by the one or more of the medical oncology staff listed above.
