Training future leaders in Hepatology is a focus of our unit. Over the years, many national and international fellows with diverse interests have trained with us. Our rich learning environment and high patient volumes allows for the simultaneous training of up to 6 clinical and research fellows. Research Fellowship in Hepatology is comprised of 75% research time, completing one major research project with a primary supervisor. Research fellows are expected to present at international meetings and publish results, engage in a collaborative environment with hepatologists whom have research interests. Clinical time will be spent focused on area of research.
