Topic: Photobiomodulation (PBM) in Neurodegeneration and Beyond: Efficacy of Transcranial PBM in Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) – Preliminary Results
Educational Objective:
- To explore the role of mitochondrial dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases.
- To introduce photobiomodulation (PBM) as a potential therapeutic strategy.
- To review existing evidence on the use of PBM in various neurodegenerative diseases.
- To present preliminary findings—cognitive and biomarker data—from our pilot study on transcranial PBM in MCI.
