The fellowship is an educational opportunity to learn about brain injury medicine rehabilitation. The fellowship experience will include working on two inpatient acquired brain injury (ABI) units as well as outpatient services with extensive exposure to acquired and traumatic brain injuries (ABI/TBI). The pathologies of the brain injuries are mainly due to infections, vascular, tumour/cancers, and poly-trauma (pedestrian and motor vehicle). Fellows will gain significant clinical experience in managing of adult brain injury and botulinum toxin injections for spasticity/hypertonicity.
