Learning objectives:

At the end of the presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Explain the mechanisms of glucose-lowering, and kidney and heart protection from SGLTi,
  2. Describe the rapidly-evolving impact of SGLTi clinical trials on diabetes, renal, and cardiovascular practice, and
  3. Identify key findings from SGLTi trials meant to overcome limitations in type 1 diabetes care.
